Urban Adventure Quest has created a family-based scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the amazing race with a three-hour tour of Denver. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Educators can use resources from the Minerals Education Coalition’s (MEC) in partnership with the Mighty Argo to provide a rich, hands-on historical experience. Because of the historic significance and impact that the Argo Mill and Tunnel played in local and state mining history, it was placed on the National Historic Register by the Department of the Interior in 1978.
